Small Steps to Health and Wealth logoSmall Steps to Health and Wealth™ (SSHW) encourages participants to make positive behavior changes to simultaneously improve their health and personal finances. The Web site includes 36 fact sheets that describe linkages between health and personal finances and 25 specific behavior change strategies for better health and increased wealth. Users can also register online to set personal health and wealth goals and periodically report their progress. In addition, there is a narrated PowerPoint presentation about improving health and increasing wealth and a set of 4 downloadable posters that depict the savings possible by changing personal habits.

Small Steps to Health and Wealth™ Colorado

This program was adapted and enhanced for Coloradans and includes 13 of the original 25 behavior change strategies for better health and increased wealth. The Web site includes curriculum materials, narrated PowerPoint videos for the strategies, and links to sources of additional information. Program evaluations determined that over 97% of participants rated the program as somewhat or very positive and motivational.
